Thank you for taking the time to review the many special features our program has to offer. Adventure Days Preschool is a ministry of Vista Grande Community Church. We have served families of the Tierrasanta Community since 1976. One of our biggest thrills is that many of our former students are ‘grown ups" now and are bringing tadays-logo2heir children to us so they can have the Adventure Days Experience. We love and cherish each and every child.

Adventure Days is a non-profit school, which extends service to the community. It operates on a non-discriminatory basis and serves children from infants to ten years. We are dedicated to developing the whole child by utilizing educational and persoboy-on-slidenal growth opportunities. We believe that each child is a special individual. By providing a nurturing environment, Adventure Days is able to meet your child's spiritual, educational, emotional and physical needs.

Fun Events

One of the most important seasons on the Christian calendar is upon us.  We are anxious to celebrate Easter at Adventure Days.  The resurrection of Jesus Christ will be taught with stories from the Bible, songs related to Easter and the true blessings of the season.  All classes will have a Easter party planned by the staff, and there will be boiling and coloring of eggs, and art projects bringing the holiday to life.

The theme for April is plants and insects.  Teachers plan many art, circle times and science projects, concerning the bounty of God's Earth.

The month of May's thematic unit will be concerning the weather, space and ecology.  During this month's activities at Adventure Days, we will concentrating on ecology and what we all can do to help preserve our wonderful Earth that we have been entrusted with.  The weather is so great in California that our children rarely experience anything other than beautiful sunny days, so it is important to pass the variation of weather throughout our region.  Space is always fascinating and fun to explore with children.

Summer is special for all children and adults.  The preschoolers study transportation, beach, ocean and farm animals.  All our school age children come to us for a full day and we plan the summer for them based on themes.  The summer includes field trips, enrichment, park play dates, crafts, art projects and Vacation Bible School.  It is fun and enjoyable time of the year.
 
School Openings

Call the school office to find out what openings are available in our Infant, Preschool, Private Kindergarten and Before/After School programs.

The Infant/Toddler Program provides care for Infants 3 months to 2 years old Monday thru Friday.

  • Fulltime hours are 7:30am to 5:30pm
  • Part-time hours are 8:30am to 2:30pm.

The Before and After School Program provides care for children from Kindergarten thru 5th grades Monday thru Friday:

  • Transportation to and from school
  • Planned Intersessions & Summer schedule
  • Field Trips & Thematic Units
  • Hot lunches and Snack
  • Opportunity to complete homework assignments
Proof of immunization and completion of enrollment package, and registration fees are required prior to admission.
